BIO
Formed in February 2022 at Mt Maria College in Mitchelton, Brisbane, The Royals are a Brisbane rock band blending classic rock attitude with a fresh, modern edge.
Known for their magnetic stage presence and blistering guitar solos, they’ve earned recognition as two-time Battle of the Rock Band winners, recipients of the 2024 QUT Vermilion High Recording Project, 2024 Grommet Winners of the Bluesfest Busking Competition and 2025 Queensland Music Award Finalists.

In 2026, The Royals added another major milestone to the list, earning their place at the Airlie Beach Festival of Music, with a support slot for Australian rock icons Jebediah to follow on 20 November.

With original releases including Run or Die, The Man in the Khaki Hat, It’s a Joke and their latest single Down the Line, The Royals are proving they’re not just a band to watch...they’re a band to watch out for.
