Formed in February 2022 at Mt Maria College in Mitchelton, Brisbane, The Royals are a young rock band blending classic rock attitude with a fresh modern edge. Known for their magnetic stage presence and blistering guitar solos, they’ve earned recognition as two-time Battle of the Rock Band winners, recipients of the 2024 QUT Vermilion High Recording Project, 2024 Grommet Winners of the Bluesfest Busking Competition, 2025 Queensland Music Award Finalists, and will open for Australian rock icons Jebediah this September.

With original releases including Run or Die, The Man in the Khaki Hat and It’s a Joke, plus their upcoming single Down the Line, The Royals are proving they’re not just a band to watch...they’re a band to watch out for.
